Program of study (classroom) management and program (institutional) management skills are essential in language teaching and learning. The effectiveness of these skills straightforwardly influences the quality of language teaching and education, the comprehensiveness of language program, and the satisfaction level of both students and teachers in language classroom. The purpose of this course is to provide both classroom management and institutional management knowledge and skills for prospective English language teacher candidates.


This course will help students to increase the skills of understanding English spoken.  The focus will be on understanding several monologues or dialogues spoken in English. The students will be trained to listen carefully and try to get meaning from what the speakers say. The students will listen English spoken on tape recorder or videotape. The topics of this course will deal with the most common phrases in daily usage for every situation.

The focus will be on understanding several monologues or dialogues spoken in English. The students will listen to English spoken on tape recorder or videotape.


This subject introduces students to the basic English structures. Topics to be discussed in this subject include: articles; pronouns; nouns; adverbs; quantifiers; and five basic tenses (the Present Continuous Tense, the Simple Present Tense, The Simple Past Tense, the Simple Future Tense, and the Present Continuous Tense.
